nose car

I got sick on the road trip. It probably happened that night when nobody slept well because it was really cold out and we were in a tent with few blankets. Anyway, it didn't really hit until today when I started sneezing like crazy so here is a nose car.

I drew some diary type comics during the road trip that don't read well, but you can struggle with them anyway. I will put those up for you people to look at tomorrow.

Today I drew a 1964 Dodge Dart and a 1964 Ford Falcon Spirit.

It's cars month and I am a fan of classics.

This is based of the Caddo tale "The Voice, the Flood, and the Turtle". A woman gives birth to four monsters that grow really fast until they are huge and stand back to back until they fuse together and then there is a flood.

The Mimbres believed that the sky was a bowl covering the earth, which goes with that burial bowl business. And of course there are legends about reaching the spirit world through a hole in the sky.

Here is a quick crappy drawing.

This is based off a Mimbres burial tradition of putting a bowl on the deceased's head after cracking a hole in the center as a way between worlds.
